Boys Basketball

The Sidney boys basketball team had a great year of growth, perseverance, and resilience.  We had an unprecedented start to our season due to the shortened preparation time we had because many of our players were playing in the state championship football game.  This shortened preparation led to a challenging start of the year along with injuries to important pieces of our team.  The team showed incredible grit and toughness through these challenges.

As the season progressed, we were able to overcome these challenges and we showed great development and chemistry which led to a very positive finish to our season.  The team's effort, attitude, and willingness to battle never wavered. If you were to look on paper it doesn't tell the true story of what a successful season we had this year.  We were able to celebrate our seniors and the team laid a strong foundation for the future.
