SIDNEY RAIDER WRESTLING
The boys team had a solid year both in duals and at tournaments. We had a number of underclassmen step up and fill some key spots. The seniors stepped up and provided leadership for the team. We saw improvement in the younger wrestlers that we anticipate building off of next year. The boys put everything they had on the mat at districts in spite of coming in with some unfortunate injuries. Cayson Boltjes and Kaine Hill were both able to punch their tickets to Omaha. Cayson was able to battle his way to a second place medal at the state championship. We have a lot of potential coming into next year and we are looking forward to getting back on the mats.
As always, none of our success is possible without the hard work of our coaches and the support from our school and our community. We are truly blessed and thankful to be a part of this team.

The girls wrestling team had an amazing year. This was their first season competing as a fully independent team separate from the boys program, which brought many new changes and challenges. Despite these obstacles, they pushed through and demonstrated incredible strength, resilience, and unity as a team.
We had a very young roster made up primarily of freshmen and sophomores, but they remained motivated and worked hard throughout the entire season. They faced tough competition, set ambitious goals, and many athletes exceeded their own expectations.
Throughout the year, the team maintained open minds, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Their dedication and hard work resulted in tremendous growth, both individually and as a team. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and excited to see what the future holds for this talented group of athletes.
