TRACK & FIELD

The 2026 edition of the Red Raider Track team upheld and built upon the strong tradition of Sidney Track success. Led by a strong group of upperclassmen, the team saw wins on the track and on the field. Highlights of the spring included team wins at the John Ganser and Mitchell Invitational meets, countless personal records from our athletes, and new all-time marks in the 100m and 200m by senior Lance Holly. As coaches, we were also encouraged by the improvement and growth in our underclassmen; we believe that the future is bright for the team. The team qualified fifteen athletes for the state track meet in Omaha and brought home four medals: Melody Sanchez, 3rd place in the Long Jump, Kash Knobbe, 6th place in the High Jump, Kyle Jaggers, 8th place in the 300m hurdles, and Reagan Nesbitt, 7th place in the Discus.
